전체 글106 My presentation at Europhysics Conference Yeh~~ The presentation was finished in the end. I am now ready to fully enjoy the excursion provided by the local committee! I made my presentation on time, and defensed every question raised by audiences. I am thus now very very happy!! As a starting point of my journey, I will visit to old jewish town in this afternoon. 2009. 7. 18. The 2009 Europhysics Conference on High Energy Physics at Krakow, Poland Yeh!! I am now taking part in the conference at Krakow, Poland. It's my great honer to join this program with the greatest Physicists in the world. For a Master's student, actually, it is very rare case to have a chance to give a talk at these kind of big big conference. Over 600 Physicists are gathered from all over the world. It's awesome! To tell the truth, it is very difficult to understand .. 2009. 7. 17. Krakow, Poland (a beautiful city) I am now in Krakow, Poland (July 16, 2009) to take part in "The 2009 Europhysics Conference on High Energy Physics". I am a nominated speaker to give a presentation titled with "b->s hadronic decays at Belle" on behalf of the Belle collaboration. It's too nervous to wait and prepare the talk tomorrow (09:00 a.m., July 18, 2009). I believe, however, I could do with my best efforts. It was terribl.. 2009. 7. 17. 2009 Spring KPS 올해로 네번째로 참가하는 물리학회. 첫 느낌이랑 뭐가 다른가? 내가 물리학회에 네번 참여하는 동안, 사람들의 포스터 발표 내용이 그리 많이 바뀌지 않은것 같다는생각이 들었다. (물론 내것도 마찬가지이다... 발표 내용에 약간의 진보가 있었지만... 사실 이번 학회에서는 발표 하지 말았어야 했다.) 발표를 잘한사람에게 주어지는 우스 포스터 상은 어떤가? 나도 한번 받은적이 있지만, 그건, "돌려먹기"라는느낌이다. 심사의 공정성보다는, 이번엔 Y대에서 받았으니까, 다음엔 S대... 작년에는 A공동연구기관에서 받았으니까 다음에는 B공동연구기관에서 받고... 내가 세상을 삐뚜르게 보기로 작정해서 그런건지는 몰라도, 적어도 내 느낌은 그렇다. 해마다 학회의 질이 좋아진다기보다, 각자가 속한 연구 기관의 연구실적을.. 2009. 4. 25. 이전 1 ··· 15 16 17 18 다음
